I was raised in Baltimore and have degrees from Princeton (B.A.) and Georgetown (M.A.). I began investing as a hobby and after military service in Vietnam, transformed my hobby into a career in 1971. I’ve lived in Arizona since 1975 and was selected by Money Magazine as one of the top 100 brokers in the nation in 1987. My wife Linda and I live in Scottsdale where Linda is an AKC Wire Haired Fox Terrier breeder.

Along with my team partner Rob Huish, we work with conservative growth investors who seek income for current use or retirement. We do not deal with options or futures and emphasize liquidity in our portfolios consisting primarily of dividend-paying stocks, mutual funds and bonds. Most of our practice is fee-based and we do not have a minimum account size as long as we are able to properly diversify a portfolio.
