Steve Stubbs is a partner of Disciplined Advisors Group (DAG), which operates under First Financial Equity Corporation. He is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, service and cultivating relationships in the community and business arenas.

Stubbs’ career started in 1979 as a financial advisor in New Mexico with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter (now Morgan Stanley). In his 23 years with Morgan Stanley, Stubbs worked in a variety of roles including financial advisor, branch manager and producing branch manager.

He then joined Bank of America Investment Services, Inc. in 2003, where he worked in a variety of roles including financial advisor, market sales manager and market director. In 2008, Stubbs made the decision to move back to Phoenix to help long-time colleague and friend, Greg Allen, grow Disciplined Advisors Group.

Like Allen, Stubbs is committed to the community and passionate about improving education. Through his efforts with the Cordillera Motorcycle Club in Colorado, Stubbs has provided monetary donations and supplies to schools in neighboring areas. Stubbs is a former president of the New Mexico Council on Economic Education.

Stubbs received his bachelor’s of science in agriculture business from Eastern New Mexico University in 1973. Additionally, he attended the Senior Branch Manager Program at The Wharton School, Aresty Institute of Executive Education at University of Pennsylvania in 1999.

An avid traveler and outdoorsman, Stubbs has a son and daughter, and recently became a grandfather.
