Ted Blood strongly believes that high ethical standards, integrity, commitment to his clients’ needs and objectives and thorough and frequent communication are essential elements for a successful relationship.  Ted has had a very broad and unique business experience in securities analysis, investment banking, corporate strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and investment management.  After receiving his MBA, Ted joined a major New York investment bank as a securities analyst.  He subsequently held executive positions with General Mills, Darden Restaurants and Times Mirror, with a career focused on strategic planning, corporate development and investor relations.  He returned full time to his love of investment management in 2002, and joined First Financial Equity a year later.

Ted is excited to help clients understand and realize the benefits of proper financial planning.  He is a firm believer in establishing investment objectives that reflect individual risk tolerance and appropriate diversification.   Ted is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).  He holds Series 7, 24 and 66 securities licenses and is licensed through the State of Arizona for accident, health and life insurance.  As such, he is able to provide a full range of financial services to his clients.

Ted and his wife Martha live in Scottsdale, Arizona.  They have four children and 11 grandchildren and truly love the chaos when they all come to visit.
