Tex Janecek’s goal is to provide families and business owners with assistance in building their financial freedom. With the skills, knowledge, and experience required to help meet his clients’ established goals. Tex strives to reach his own personal goal of becoming a lifetime resource for each and every client.
Tex joined First Financial in December of 2009 and has his Series 7 and 66 and is licensed to sell Life & Health Insurance and securities in the states of MT, WY, WI, and AZ.
Tex was born and raised in Oconomowoc, WI. Upon graduation from high school, Tex attended New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, NM and subsequently transferred to the University of Wisconsin in Oshkosh where he graduated with a BS in Public Administration. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Montana and has been a resident for 32 years.
Tex began his career in consumer finance in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and transferred to Montana as a branch manager in Billings and Butte, MT. Tex then moved to whole finance, arranging financing for business inventories. He joined Duracell and, after serving Montana & Wyoming, was promoted to National Accounts and managed the Duracell franchise at a National Grocery chain. Tex left consumer sales at the end of 2002 and became securities and insurance licensed, focusing on helping clients set and achieve their goals.
Tex and his wife Claudia have a daughter Jodi and son Brett. In his spare time, Tex enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, boating, and horses. He is a member of Billings Downtown Exchange Club, Life Member of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, National Rifle Association, Safari Club International and is a board member of the Family Support Network.
