Hilary S. Jones Rojo, Wealth Management Advisor, MBA, MA, is a mother of four, grandmother of seventeen, and great-grandmother of two. After a career in law enforcement and youth/family mental health treatment, she transitioned to the financial planning industry 23 years ago. Throughout her career, she has worked for several broker-dealers and two banks. In 2013, she founded her independent advisory business, Guardian Wealth Builders, LLC. Her husband, Mac, a Vietnam Veteran and retired California Deputy Sheriff of 35 years, has been her partner for 31 years.
In 2022, they built their dream home on 22 acres in Taylor, AZ, and started a horse rescue and sanctuary nonprofit. Over the past year, they have rehomed 32 abused, neglected, and abandoned horses to loving homes. Community volunteers assist with cleaning, grooming, training, and riding, while Mac handles the twice-daily feeding routine. Currently, 17 horses are on the property awaiting adoption. These horses provide Hilary with a much-needed break from managing her clients' portfolios and running the business with her eldest daughter, Autumn. Hilary also occasionally serves as Adjunct Faculty for the Business Department and teaches horsemanship classes at her local community college.
Hilary is excited about moving to Cetera and plans to retire in the next few years.
