Q:How did your journey in financial services begin?
A: My career began at Morgan Stanley in Lincoln, Nebraska, where I stepped into the world of financial advising over 19 years ago. That experience sparked a passion for helping people navigate their financial lives with clarity and confidence.

Q:What inspired you to start your own firm in Billings, Montana?
A: Billings is home. In 2008, I helped launch the FFEC Wealth Partners office here with my dad, Randy Sitzman (Regional Director). I took over and managed the Billings, Wyoming & North Dakota offices in 2016. No longer managing, Megan (Associate Financial Advisor) & I work full time with clients on full financial planning, branded as The Savvy Wealth Planners and still under the umbrella of FFEC Wealth Partners—a firm built on our passion of serving our clients.

Q:What’s your role today at The Savvy Wealth Planners?
A: I lead our team in delivering holistic financial planning. I am fully licensed & work with my partner, Megan Smith to provide services like multi-generational planning, estate strategies, wealth management, life insurance, retirement income planning, and long-term financial confidence.

Q:Are you still involved with FFEC?
A: Yes! The Savvy Wealth Planners is part of FFEC Wealth Planners. Megan and I simply wanted to brand ourselves within their umbrella. I also continue to serve at the leadership level with FFEC, helping with marketing, advisor recruiting, business development, and tech innovation. I love testing new tools and platforms—we have so much technology at our fingertips, and I enjoy helping shape how we use it to better serve our clients.

Q:You have a background in the arts—how does that shape your approach?
A: I earned my BFA from New School University, and my background in acting, singing, and public speaking helps me make financial planning feel less like a spreadsheet and more like a conversation. I believe in making things approachable, engaging, and—dare I say—fun. My goal is to turn complex strategies into clear, uplifting conversations.

Q:What’s one of your core values in working with clients?
A: FUN is foundational. I want every client to leave our meetings feeling informed, empowered, and smiling.

Q:What makes your client relationships so special?
A: Our clients become family. We travel to see them, share meals, celebrate weddings, and walk through life’s milestones together. We’ve been known to cry at retirement parties and dance at receptions. It’s not just business, it’s personal.

Q:How do you stay connected to your community?
A: I serve on the board of Aspen’s Angels Grief Recovery, a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart. Supporting individuals through grief has deepened my understanding of how to navigate loss or sit with someone who is or has experienced it. It’s about showing up with compassion—in life and in finance.

Q:What do you enjoy outside of the office?
A: I love golfing, traveling, and performing! I still sing the national anthem at PBR rodeos—many of them televised—and take on other singing gigs when I can. I may have a random acting or speaking engagement too! Megan is never surprised when I come back saying I met someone even just running to the gas station. I love getting to know people & their unique stories!

Q:What makes you a trusted partner for families planning their financial future?
A: With nearly two decades of diverse experience, a creative and strategic mindset, and a deep commitment to people, I help families preserve, grow, and secure their financial futures—with Fun, simplicity, and a little bit of sparkle. One of my favorite parts of my job is celebrating people’s net worth’s as we continue to meet & grow together!
